1. Mining → Prospect to check a wall with appropriate quality as we cannot set wall quality.
2. Specials → Change Terrain to paint the wall to the type you want it to be.
3. Specials → Set data → Cave Resource to the number of hits left (up to 15k max).

How to set up a rare ore vein for a player reward.

1. Find a cave wall that is 90+ql on the player's settlement using Mining → Prospect.
2. Specials → Change Terrain to the rare vein type.
3. Specials → Set data → Cave Resource to 50 (hits left).

It is up to the player to have the skill and the quality tools before mining the rare ore vein.
