Max Heap Size
Symptom
Lag at times, especially with chunks loading in.
Fix
SSD Drive
Run Wurm Unlimited on an SSD drive if you don't already.
Increase Heap Size
It is recommended that you increase the memory setting to 8gb. Here's how.
- Close WU if it is running.
- Go to your WurmLauncher folder.
- Edit the LaunchConfig.ini file.
- Set MaxHeapSize=8192m
- Save the file.
- Run WU. Enjoy reduced lag.
