Age
All creatures age, grow old and die eventually, even vanity mounts. Creatures seem to age at different rates.
You can prolong a creature's life indefinitely by caring for it (but there is still a chance of death at some point). The number of creatures you can care for is based on the Animal Husbandry skill. For every 10 skill you can care for another creature. If a creature has the “spark in its eye” trait it will have a 50% longer lifespan.

* Can be ridden and hitched.
** Hell horses become unruly and unhitch from vehicles during the second half of the Old stage. The only way to fix the issue is to reduce age using age Runes.
Spawn
When a creature spawns it is given a random age. Sometimes a creature dies immediate from old age.
