 Like sleep bonus, foods and beverages can give you a skill gain timer, but for one particular skill at a time, based on the recipe made by the crafter.  While you can get decent timers with food recipes, the longest timers are achieved with unfermented moonshine.
 * When you drink moonshine the affinity timer starts.  When the timer expires the affinity is no longer active.  The affinity acts like a toggle, either on (active, counting down) or off (expired, no time left).
