The Mythmoor economy is player driven. Pricing can be highly subjective. Pricing may be higher or lower than it used to be depending on supply and demand.
A general rule for pricing is charging per action.
Improving is generally broken down into quality level ranges, and can vary the resource used in the improving process (for example, what metal the item being improved is made of).
Typical pricing is 1-3s (again, resource depending) for a 90 quality improve and goes up from there.
Enchanting is priced similar to improving. Instead of quality it is the desired cast range that determines the pricing.
Most regular enchants would typically be 50s for a 90+ cast and 1s for a 100+. Personally, I would lump Expand in with regular enchants as it is not difficult to achieve the higher casts once your channeling is high enough.
The harder enchants like Efficiency, Titanforged and Quarry may be in the range of 2s+ depending on the effort it takes to achieve the cast.
Again, the pricing is subjective. I am basing these ballpark prices loosely on Annoyer's Pricing Sheet and what I know about the current pricing. Also see Xantifuch's Price List. I have two other price lists on the Links page, but those are outdated.
Bulk items are typically sold in large crates for larger items or satchels/backpacks for smaller items.
Resources like dirt and sand sell for 40-50c per large crate, and generally require per item to gather.
Logs require felling trees and chopping, which is more than one action. Typically, logs sell for 1 to 1.2s per large crate, but prices can vary depending on supply and demand.
Small crates would be half the price of the large crates.
Satchels/backpacks typically contain 100 items. Pricing ranges from 50c to 3s depending on the item being sold and can vary.
NOTE: When delivering satchels or backpacks through the mail system, only send one (100 items max) at a time and wait for the items to be received by the player or you may lock up your mailbox until it times out and returns the items. There is nothing we can do to fix it, you will have to wait for the autoreturn.
Taxidermy kits typically go for 2s if they are high quality. More for rare kits.
Julbords started out at 2s years ago, then gradually dropped to 1.5s, and then 1.2s and then 1s. The current pricing is typically between 80 copper and 1s.
You can use the PC prefix in trade chat to check the price of a particular item, but a player may not respond immediately.
The best indicator of pricing for the economy is the history of the global Freedom chat channel (GL Freedom) and the trade channel on the Mythmoor Discord server.
Tools, weapons and armor typically start at 80 copper to 1s for a high quality item. Enchants and rarity increase the price, based on casts and how rare it is.
Do some research based on the pricing history and what players are currently charging, then come up with your own pricing; what you think it's worth. Don't take my word for it. These are ballpark and prices may vary.
