This page is a work in progress. It will be updated as more recipes are determined at some point in the future.
The goal of this guide is to give brief descriptions of how to make alcoholic beverages.
This guide is for making alcoholic beverages only. There are other pages on the wiki for learning how to make affinity beverages. Affinity beverages do not require fermentation.
Alcohol does not decay.
Harvest green or blue grapes from grape bushes with a sickle. Harvest maple sap from maple trees with a small bucket.
Once you have grapes and sap, you're ready to begin processing them.
Press grapes (7 at a time) using a fruit press to make grape juice. Transfer the juice to a wine barrel after each pressing. Cook maple sap in a cauldron to make maple syrup.
Combine equal parts grape juice and maple syrup to make unfermented wine. Move the unfermented wine to a small wine barrel.
Get a wood scrap. Activate it in inventory by double clicking it. Right click the small wine barrel with the unfermented wine in it and Create, Fermenting Wine. This seals the barrel for fermentation.
Store the small wine barrel and check it periodically for completion of the fermentation process. Fermentation time takes approximately 5-7 real time days.
Brandy is made from red wine.
Cook red wine in a cauldron to make undistilled brandy.
Add undistilled brandy in the boiler of a still to make brandy, which starts to appear in the condenser. You will need to keep the still fueled for the process to complete. It will take many hours. If the still goes out, simply relight it to continue the process of distilling.
