====== Highway ====== First read the [[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oSCNDIsIwcopjxNDSW4Q4oudq4k1cWThTrmU03IbIbA/edit?usp=sharing|Highway Documentation]], then read the notes below. ===== Notes ===== ==== Waystones ==== * You must enable highways via the settlement settings checkboxes. * Allow Highways - Allow players to make a highway to your settlement. This allows adding of catseyes and waystones within your settlement boundary. * Highway Routing - Show settlement on route list. If you don't check this players cannot set a route to your settlement unless they manually enter your settlement name. * If this is the first highway in your area you must place a waystone at least two tiles into your settlement to be able to lay down catseyes leading away to another waystone. * Highways require two tile roads or one a tile road flanked by at least gravel. * Catseyes are laid down on pavement tile corners in the center of the road. They can only be laid down leading away from a waystone. * Waystones should be put at junctions of roads, connected in between by catseyes. * Terminate to a waystone at least 2 tiles inside your settlement. * If a waystone is green and all catseyes are green but the arrow from the next waystone says unknown pointing to your settlement (and you have highways checked in settlement settings), leave the area and come back, it will update with the name of your settlement. * Use the right click menu on a waypoint to **Find route**. If your settlement is in the dropdown list it is connected. ==== Catseye Colors ==== ^ Catseye Color ^ Meaning ^ | Red | The last catseye in a line of catseyes connected to one waystone but not another | | Blue | "Under construction"; one way connection; one end has a waystone but the other end does not | | Green | Good connection between two waystones |
