 NOTE:  You cannot use your carving knife to cut up food ingredients.  You need to make a "knife".
 Add ingredients to a cooking container inside a furnace.  Right click on your cooking container and select Lore to see if the ingredients inside make a recipe.
 Recipes that use liquid require an amount without a certain range of measurement.  Use the measuring jug to try different amounts and Lore to find the amount needed.  Pay attention to the messages in events.
+If using water for the recipe and the furnace is lit, the wrong amount of water will turn into purified water when it heats up.  Purified water cannot be used for cooking.  You'll have to remove it and try a different measurement of water.
