NOTE: Auxdata 1 is actually sand. For some reason, you cannot level up where dirt is required in inventory using your ebony wand with the Auxdata dirt setting (2), so you must use sand (1). Sand will let you level without the need for dirt on hand.

The current policy is that if a player finds vanities, and they report them to the GM via /support ticket, they are paid 3s per vanity for their efforts to safeguard the vanities.

Vesseling Gems

How to use set data to vessel gems.

Change Data1 to desired stored favor value. I tested as high as 5k, didn’t try higher.

NOTE: You only get three uses max out of a gem, so it will disappear long before you get to use a high favor setting. Thus, the max I would use is 300 (100 favor x 3 uses). There is no settable value for gem usage, I assume it is an algorithm based on QL.

Cautionary Tales

This page is dedicated to past GM faux pas, and overall general tips for the new GM. What not to do, what to be careful of.

Cave Entrances

When flying, a GM will “fall” into cave entrances, and potentially die. Avoid cave entrances when flying. If you find you're having trouble interacting with objects (too far away), you most likely fell into a cave, but are still seeing yourself as above ground. You will need to find an entrance to the cave, enter the cave, and exit it …
